Sacred Oath release third new single “Us & Them” with lyric video

80s USPM pioneers Sacred Oath have released a third single “Us & Them” from their forthcoming 12^th album. (Angel Thorne Music,SRGILS,Virgin,UMG).The band is currently in the studio working on a full-length follow-up to “Return Of The Dragon” (2021) and anticipate a late 2025 release.

“Nothing has changed, nothing!” said Rob Thorne, who has penned most of the band’s lyrics over the last 40 years including these last three singles. “Daily life today is a constant reminder that, as a race, we have yet to transcend the worst aspects of ourselves.  We’re prone to hate. It’s always been ‘Us & Them’. We can’t help ourselves.”

Sacred Oath are back working on a complete album of new songs in Thorne’s Connecticut studio, where almost all of their catalog has been recorded.  In keeping with the band’s last several releases, this latest single features original artwork from drummer Kenny “Thundarr” Evans.

“I wanted to keep it simple, iconic, and open to interpretation,” said Evans, who typically produces elaborate drawings for the band.
